40 Masculine Exposed Brick Wall Ideas – Mens Decor

Exposed brick walls have an industrial and real feel to it. Perhaps in our materialistic, plastic, epoch that we find ourselves in we are drawn to more solid and authentic décor; something which reflects life and earth – rather than cheap throw-away plastics and synthetics. No joke, some anthropologists are saying the amount of plastic that is already evidence within our strata layer will lead to this age being the ‘plastic age’. This would explain the rise in mid-century modern décor (which eventuates natural lines) and also the trend of industrial décor, which is on the rise.

One of the trends of industrial décor is the impactful exposed brick wall. There’s loads of articles from professional decorators and plasterers on how to expose your homes brick wall, assuming that there is one behind the plaster. All the tropes of cool male living spaces are there, the Eames style recliner chair with ottoman (an expensive classic!), the big ass Kentia palms (which we have covered in other articles), the faux cow hide rug, the arc floor lamp. Every cool male living space combo is in there.
