Budget Bohemian Apartment Decor – For Men

But what makes bohemian so bohemian? Before being unconventional became conventional, the bohemian lifestyle was a cornerstone of literary, musical and arty types; it is the alternative and quirky lifestyle that adorned the respective boho’s home with a quirky mixture of seemingly non-related items. From the Chelsea Hotel to your living room; you don’t have to be an off-the-wall, strung-out old hippie to appreciate the fun and maximalist aesthetic of a bohemian inspired living space.

A hammock in the living room? Why the hell not… More plants than Gorilla’s in the Mist? Got it, a homunculus next to a fertility stature? Maybe not… Scroll down the below photos and we’ll try to capture and explain the essence of boho décor.
